I’m so excited to share the wedding of Anežka & Eliza. These two brides met during their studies & Erasmus in Olomouc – a beautiful baroque Moravian city in Czech Republic. With Anežka bein Czech and Eliza Brazillian, they soon moved together to Ireland and now again – to live in Portugal. So as you might already expect their wedding guests included nationalities from all over the world.

I was there to celebrate with them (as I’ve known Anežka since being a teenager) and  capture their wedding with their families and friends from all over the world. There was a bilingual ceremony and speeches in 3 languages – English, Czech and Portuguese.

They legally married earlier that year just with their witnesses in Dennmark. As although you can enter into a registered partnership in Czech Republic, same sex wedding is still not legally possible. So instead they officially married in Dennmark and then they arranged a symbolical ceremony at Potštejn Castle to share the moments with their families.

The whole day was relaxed with a summer camp vibes. With many of the guests staying for the whole wedding weekend at the venue. A lot of wedding decor was DIYed, with friends and family helping out to get everything ready.
