I’m excited to share the story of Lorna and David’s Rowallan Castle wedding. It was my first time shooting at this luxury Ayrshire wedding venue and it really exceeded all my expectations. Set with the view of the golf courses and all the way to the. The Castle is tastefully decorated and the service is  just perfect. The whole venue decoration was spot on as well, featuring gorgeous elegant florals in just whites and greens by Diane Reid, Bouquet Barn.

We couldn’t wish for better weather either. (For Scotland) unusually bright and sunny day reflected the personality of the couple so well. Although we only had one Skype call before meeting them on their wedding day. Their relaxed and bright personality just shine through.  It was such a relaxed day full of laughter and joy from getting ready in the morning all the way till the wild ceilidh in the evening.

By the way: During our initial Skype call Lorna and David mentioned they’re really not into having their photos taken. Like 99% of my couples they said they always feel awkward. But hey, they were so relaxed and natural on the day. And just natural when we sneaked out to the Old Rowallan Castle for newly-wed portraits!
