Edinburgh Couple Photography Session

I am excited to share this scenic Edinburgh Couple Photography Session. An afternoon spent climbing hills, chasing rainbows and getting completely soaked and muddy. Love Edinburgh and its weather on this last day of winter! And Holyrood Park which is almost like being anywhere else in the Scottish nature. While you’re being in the heart of the city.

At first the sunny day got slightly overcast with a quick shower which we successfully overcame hiding under roof of Scottish Parliament. Just as we were climbing the open part to the ruins of Saint Anthony’s Chapel we could see Edinburgh Castle nad New Town slowly vanishing in the cloud. Within minutes there was a raging snow storm with horizontal rain. I managed to snap some pictures before I had to hide the camera under my coat as it was completely covered in water and so were Dan and Harriet. Fortunately, rain was gone after a while and we turned our heads to see a double rainbow over Leith. This is just too much beauty in one day guys!

We climbed the slopes of Arthur Seat a bit more after that to catch the sun slowly setting. We even dried a bit on the way and just as we thought we’re done and can safely call it a day, a slight incident happened which included muddy hill, slippery shoes and two consecutive falls resulting in the muddy bum and knee.

It’s been super fun and relaxed Edinburgh Couple Photoshoot and got me really excited for the spring to come and all the elopement and wedding photography which lays ahead. Definitely need more couple photoshoots in Holyrood Park. Maybe even climbing Arthur’s Seat next time?!
