Wes Andreson movies were the main inspiration for the colour scheme of this bohemian Czech-Slovak wedding held in Czech borderland near Neratov. It was full of little DIY details such as the hand-embroidered powder pink wedding dress, which has been customised to the delicate condition of the bride! I was capturing the whole day from the morning preparations in the cabin on the ski slope with all the friends (and dogs) around until the night. The ceremony was held in the atmospheric old church with a glass roof and rich history – the original roof has been destroyed during WWII and the new one installed just a few years ago. The reception then took place in the newly built barn at the intimate family mountain hotel Černá Voda, surrounded by meadows and woods – the landscape dear to the couple. We headed out in the evening for the newlywed shoot and walked through the forests as much as the delicate condition of the bride and freezing cold of the mountainous summer allowed and after that danced through the night :).
